Integration with Amazon.com®

The Internet marketplace Amazon.com, once just a seller of books but now a full-fledged mall, with DVDs, videotape, electronics, etc., provides a business with a number of opportunities to participate in its online selling. For example, you can become an Amazon.com associate by registering yourself with them and them providing a link to Amazon.com, or to a particular item they sell, and then get paid a commission if that item is sold through your link. They also offer a developer program to provide programmable access to their Internet servers, allowing your web site to display items for sale on Amazon.com on your web site, without having to redirect your customers to the Amazon.com (or, perhaps, to someone else's) web site.
