Do you (or will you) have a page on your site that needs to be updated daily or weekly? Many sites have a news or announcement page, or a list of events that needs to be updated regularly. If you don't have a web developer on staff, though, that means that you will need to pay someone to make that minor update, and that person will need to fit your probably minor work into what might be a very busy schedule.

The solution, and one offered by PCV Software, is to provide for certain pages to have their main content (excluding things like standard headers and footers, navigation links, etc.) to be updated by the site owner remotely using their regular web browser. No special web development tools are required, and the editing is done using standard word processing editing tools. You can even upload images and manipulate them to fit the page, as well as select standard site images for insertion in the text. The page may be previewed as often as necessary, and is not updated until you are satisfied with the result.

We've placed an example of this function on our site. The editing capability is secured at the server, so you'll need to enter the userid and password of "demo" (without the quotes) when prompted.
